H&M Dresses For Spring
It’s already April and spring is in full bloom! I must admit, I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year. On one hand, I despise the massive pollen, bugs, and birds that won’t stop chirping. On the other hand, I love the longer days, the bbq’s, and the fact that I can now order ice coffee with out freezing to death. But most importantly, I love that it’s time to wear dresses!
I am a huge fan of H&M, and right now they have some great dresses that I just can’t pass up! The hot trends for dresses this spring are: lots of lace, floral print (think island flowers- the bigger the better), neon colors (for those who like to stand out), stripes, and of course maxi dresses. Fashion Fix: H&M Glamour Line Coming This April
H&M’s Exclusive Glamour collection will be hitting stores across the globe April 12th! This line has already been worn by a host of celebrities on the red carpet including Michelle Williams, Amanda Seyfried, and Kristin Davis.
H&M has created the glamorous line because they believe the red carpet has become as exciting as the catwalk. The company said in a press release:”These collections show how important sustainability is to H&M… This is all part of Conscious, the ongoing initiative to increase the use of organic cotton and other more sustainable materials.”
We are so excited for this fabulous line to hit stores!
Fashion Star’s Shift Dress
Designer Sarah Parrott struck gold on Tuesday night’s debut of Fashion Star, when H&M placed an $80,000 order for her blue and black shift dress. On the show, when a large department store offers to buy the designers look, they agree to have it in stores the very next day!
So, late Wednesday afternoon I strutted my stuff (through the rain no less) to the Roseville Galleria because I was determined to check this dress out for myself. When I got there, there were only 9 dresses left! An H&M employee said they had people lined up at the door waiting to grab this dress for themselves. Lucky for me, one of the black dresses they had left was in my size. It was meant to be!
Now, this dress is fantastic. Little black dress approved and I absolutly love it! And for only $19.95 it’s a dream come true. Pair the blue number with some floral printed pumps, and you got yourself the perfect little date night outfit.
