Everyday Crochet
Crochet isn’t just for Grandma anymore. I’ve seen crochet vests, dresses, tops, hats, scarves even shorts. I love how effortlessly sexy a crochet oversized sweater can be. Your covered up but can still catch little glimpses of skin here and there. Pair it with jean cut off shorts and you look chic without any fuss.
Crochet can be carried through all seasons and can be layered in numerous different ways. Maybe you’ll think twice before ditching the next crochet wonder Granny gives you next!

The High-Low Hemline

My current love affair is with the asymmetrical or the high-low hemline. It’s flow-y, romantic, and very bohemian fairy-tale.
Not only is this design displayed on dresses, but designers are using it on jackets, tops and skirts. It looks like the mullet found a much more suitable place in fashion rather than hair styling!

Shoulder Cut-outs
One of my favorite things when it come to fashion or anything to do with decorating is taking something timeless and classic and giving it that modern edge or twist. I love the unexpected pop on something that’s been done time and time again. That’s why I love the shoulder cut-outs!
Talk about a refreshing look on a simple plain blouse and giving it a double take. And this would be so easy to do to one of the shirts you already have in your closet! Hmmmmm…possible DIY on the horizon….I think so!!
