Sheer Versatility

One of my favorite things about the sheer trend that Jess previously mentioned, is its versatility. I love the sexy vibe it gives off while still appearing so easy going. Whether you pair it with jeans and a cami, or no cami, or a skirt or shorts, the possibilities are endless.

Layering or alone – the sheer fabric shows off your figure and yet still leaves plenty to the imagination. In my opinion it is the perfect girly piece for any wardrobe.

The Sexy Secretary Blouse

The tie neck blouse has kept making its reappearance ever since the 60′s or 70′s when it was deemed the “secretary blouse” (Joan from Mad Men anyone?!) Although this is more of a fall centered piece you can easily transition this for spring and summer.

I love the sheer versatility of this top, you go preppy with it or grunge, or eclectic and it’s still appropriate of work or play. Dress it up with a pair of high-waist tuxedo pants -Hello gorgeous! Or work it into your weekend with a pair nautical inspired shorts and wedges.

The Quest For The Perfect Orange Dress

Picking up where Virginia left off this week, tangerine is the color that seems to be on everyone’s mind! Yesterday, I wrote a post for Latina Magazine featuring some of the best dressed Latina’s at the UK’s Glamour magazine’s “Women of the Year” awards.

One star that really stood out to me was Eva Longoria who looked stunning in a bright orange dress by Victoria Beckman. After seeing the beautiful 37-year-old in this bright, bold dress, I wanted to find one of my own.

Here are a few of my favorites: all under $50, and all available at Nordstrom in B.P.
