MTV Movie Awards Fashion
I must admit that the thing I love most about award shows is the red carpet fashion! And the MTV Movie Awards this weekend were no exception! I love that this particular award show is more laid back so the fashion is always very current and edgy.

Marilyn Monroe is the ultimate style icon and her look is the definition of timeless! Not a year goes by that someone doesn’t walk the red carpet channeling her style, or a magazine doesn’t do a fashion spread inspired by her. This year is no exception…whether it’s the Dolce & Gabanna ads, or the TV show Smash, or movies like My Week With Marilyn, it seems she is everywhere! In addition to her amazing signature hair and makeup, her style is definitely one to pay attention to. Here are some summer classics we all should add to our closet, courtesy of Marilyn herself!

Rompers have been one of my favorite looks for the past few seasons and this summer is no exception! The fact that they are one piece makes them an easy summer choice. I love their retro feel…and pair them with a cute pair of wedges and some accessories and you have an effortless outfit that looks super stylish!
