Sunglasses Giveaway!
It’s that time of year again when sunglasses become a necessity! What better way to welcome the warm weather than with a sunglasses giveaway? This weekend we are teaming up with the ultra trendy brand Fantas-Eyes for a chance to win some amazing shades!

Thrifting 101
Thrift stores are some of my favorite places to shop…where else can you get fuchsia suede pumps for $2?! It can be a little overwhelming though if you’re not a seasoned thrifter. Here are 4 tips to make your next trip to your local thrift store a good one.
1. Take a deep breath: it’s easy to be overwhelmed when you first walk in and see an ocean of clothing racks! Don’t feel like you have to look at everything in the store. Pick a couple sections and focus on those!
2. Don’t let the junk distract you from the treasures: piles of mom jeans and outdated sweaters can often blind you from the good stuff. I find that heading for the accessories and purses are good places to start. I’m rarely disappointed with what I find! Be patient and pick through what’s there. Leather clutch or vintage clip-ons? Yes please!
3. Keep in mind what’s already in your closet: a floral polyester top may look dated in the store but when paired with your skinny jeans and boots at home…you get the picture!
4. Sometimes it’s just luck: if you find yourself leaving empty handed don’t let that deter you from trying again! Today there might not be anything you like but next week you could hit the jackpot!

Pretty In Peplum
What is a Peplum? A peplum is essentially ruffled or pleated material that flares out at the waist of a skirt, dress, jacket, or top. Popular in the 1940′s, this cut has made a comeback this year on the runway and red carpet.
Super chic and elegant with a classy vintage vibe, the peplum is a wearable trend for 2012! Choose a more fitted peplum with a cinched waist if you’re curvy. And if your thin or have a strait figure go for a flared one to add some sexy hourglass curves!
